An Evening With Colin Kaepernick | Nike

PURPOSE We got the call up from Nike to host Colin Kaepernick alongside Nike London's Community Partners. In line with Nike's Future Forward festival, we were given 5 days to create an intimate private dining experience for Colin and other guests within close proximity from the festival location. Future Forward is a celebration of black culture and sport and Colin was to be in town to connect with the community on the ground. INFLUENCE With Colin Kaepernick being a Vegan, an ideal spot would have to be predominantly Vegan but not limited to. Our response was to take a trip to Tatale London, a contemporary Pan-African concept telling stories through food, art & culture! Hosted by Akwasi Brenya-Mensa, the 5 course meal took Colin and guests through an African inspired experience. The main course of the evening was the value exchange across the table between Nike's Community. Community partners included Brixton Topcats, The Movement Factory, Badu Sports, Les Hijabeuses and BLAM charity.
