ASOS Fashion Discovery Competition - Meet The 2018 Winners
ASOS, as part of the company’s commitment to supporting emerging talent, launched ASOS Fashion Discovery Competition for the second year. Open to up and coming fashion companies registered in the UK, the competition aims to find the very best emerging talent.
This year’s Fashion Discovery winning brands each scoop £50,000 of investment, one-to-one mentoring from industry experts, and will be stocked on ASOS for at least two seasons. Plus the People’s Pick winner, as voted for by the public, will have their collection sold on ASOS for one season.

JUDGE'S WINNER: WESLEY HARRIOT
Emerging victorious, it's this London-based purveyor of multifunctional fashion
Wesley Harriot focuses on powerful women’s style through striking silhouettes. On the panel day, the judges scored on originality, commerciality, and entrepreneurial spirit. The judges decided his pitch and offering was incredibly strong and earned him the prize of £50K, 1-2-1 mentoring and their collection sold on ASOS for minimum 2 seasons.

Our champ seamlessly brings womenswear and menswear together
LYPH designs unisex clothing and accessories, which focuses on customisation mixed with functionality. The judges were really impressed with the business minded brand and also selected him to win £50K, 1-2-1 mentoring and his collection sold on ASOS for minimum 2 seasons.

PEOPLE'S PICK WINNER: DESREEE AKORAHSON
Chosen by you, this 60s-inspired brand is set for big things
Desree Akorahson focuses on fun, scuba women’s occasionwear and draws inspiration from the 60s. She received an amazing total of 4,495 votes! Her prize consists of her collection (minimum one season) being sold on ASOS.
