We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team as an Assistant Studio Manager at our bustling photographic studio complex in Haggerston, London. Working alongside the Studio Manager the successful applicant will play a key supporting role within the business by helping to prepare and deliver all aspects of the busy day to day schedule. This position will provide a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their photographic career. This full time and demanding role requires a highly motivated and ambitious person with excellent organisational and communication skills. Responsibilities: Working alongside the Studio Manager to ensure our client's needs are met. Assisting in organising lighting and equipment, catering and any other orders. General administrative work. Ordering supplies for the studio and clients. Greeting clients upon arrival Checking any pre-ordered catering is delivered on time and cleared in a timely manner Helping the Studio Manager to oversee our team of assistants Opening and closing of the studios Ensuring the assistants prepare the studios for the following day Dealing with deliveries and pickups Answering incoming calls and directing them to the correct people. Co-ordinating with the production team ensuring clients are well supported and looked after. Welcoming clients into the studios and checking that everything is to their satisfaction. Take pride in keeping the studios in an impeccable state Provide cover over the weekends when needed Desired Skills and Experience: This is a mid-level role and as such relevant experience in the photographic or film industry is necessary. Previous managerial experience, a background of working in a studio or other relevant positions with transferrable skills is a preference Be Self Motivated and be able to work independently as well as having a great team ethic Excellent organisational and communication skills with an impeccable phone manner. Ability to handle a fast-paced and high-pressure environment Excellent customer service skills Basic computing skills required Must be versatile, hard working, intuitive, patient, and reliable Must be focused and detail orientated START DATE: Salary: Feb 2019 £20-22k D.O.E.
