Impossible to Ignore

To draw attention to the increasing number of people facing homelessness in the UK, in our first Christmas fundraising campaign for Crisis, we make homelessness impossible to ignore.  The campaign launched with the unveiling of a towering 4.3 metre, hyper-real sculpture in London’s Kings Cross station. Created Oliveira Barata, the sculpture illustrates the enormity of this issue and stands as a visible testament to the hundreds of thousands experiencing the worst kinds of homelessness in the UK.

The installation is supported by a 50” film launched in an exclusive spot on Channel 4, highlighting the extent to which the homeless are ignored and the impact of doing nothing.

With the cost-of-living crisis escalating, the campaign forces the public to acknowledge what is becoming the harsh reality for an increasing number of people in the UK and encourages us all to take action and help those facing homelessness.
