Ink Art & Intimacy - a collaborative exhibition by Design District tenants, tattoo-studio Aura Ninety Four and award-winning photographer Dylan Collard.
“For the last year I’ve been watching amazing and interesting looking-people go in and out of their space and thought I must do a project with them. Eventually I bumped into Luke and Annie at one of Design District’s events and got chatting” - Dylan.
The resulting collaborative project features portraits of tattoo artists photographed with their clients, in the Aura Ninety Four studio. The idea is based around the concept of ‘intimacy’ and Dylan has captured portraits that show the closeness, vulnerability and trust involved in the artist / client relationship.
Come and see how our tenants are collaborating at the exhibition on Sunday 15th and Monday 16th, 12 - 6 pm in Aura Ninety Four's studio, building A4.
