Jøtul is a Norwegian producer of wood burning stoves, founded in 1853. In 2004 they approached us to design a new generation of stoves with high focus on modularity, precision and quality to match the high standards of todays modern interiors.
The first product in the series was Jøtul F370. The stove is distinguished by it’s clean lines, precise detailing and balanced proportions. With large windows on all sides and 360 degrees rotation, it exposes the fire to all parts of the room. The design is modular with many possible configurations. Jøtul F370 became an instant success and was soon the best selling stove in the company’s 150 years history. This became the start of a long term cooperation between Jøtul and Hareide Design that has resulted in a number of successful and award winning products.
