LOCAL

'Local' is a photography exhibition which featured 5 photographers, all based in London, all still learning their craft, and hoping to resonate the beauty and challenges encountered, seen and experienced within this city and other localities through the advent of photography. The event was a visual exploration of the near and far concepts of localness, community and experiencing life through a metropolis lens. The viewing took place in December 2019 at Clapham Studios and coincided with the launch of the eponymous Gold Host zine featuring contributions from Emma Hanson, Grafiti Anon, Kate Dawson, Nick Freeman, Working Progress, Alfred Quartey, Malik Abdoulmoumine, and Sierra Nallo.
