Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall has been a powerful independent voice in the world of contemporary art for over 25 years. Their reason-for-being is to support new artists with funding and residency at the gallery’s studio in Vauxhall, London. To coincide with the gallery's digital transformation, Seed was commissioned to represent the gallery’s Artist in Residency programme through a series of original channel-ready films and images. Making Art by Seed captures Beaconsfield’s Artist in Residence programme in one inspiring visual narrative; articulating a purpose and proposition that’s relevant to the public, government and patrons: all of whom the gallery depends on for grants and its charitable status. The style of the work: raw, urban and authentic, is inspired by the gallery's location underneath-the-arches on Newport St., Vauxhall. (Some twenty years before Mr Hirst.)
