Design for 'Making for Change: Waltham Forest'; a programme of community engagement, educational and design research activities devised by the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, using fashion as a catalyst for change in the borough. We were appointed to create the overall identity of the programme, an exhibition of outcomes from the project and accompanying publication. The exhibition identity draws inspiration from the mechanisms of a sewing machine and the thread connecting the individual parts of the logotype representing the connections made within the community. Exhibition and publication were produced using recycled or recyclable materials plus carbon offsetting.
