Modern Morocco

A collection of fabric samples based on traditional Moroccan Design involving modern techniques to create innovative, heavily embellished surface patterns. Main techniques used in this project include: CAD Embroidery, Laser Cutting, Beadwork, Reverse Appliqué and Digital Print. The aim was to create a coherent selection of fabrics that well represent the beautiful intricacy found within Moroccan Architecture and Textiles. The hand created aspects reflect the incredible craftsmanship behind elaborate Moroccan arts.
