This year we have started working with the Pricnes Trust. By working with the Princes Trust we can use each other strengths, The Princes Trust reach to young people all over the UK and ours of creating kits that inspire young people to get making. This will allow us to embed STEM across their programmes so every young person has the opportunity and is inspired to start their journey making with tech.
We ran a pilot DIY Gamer workshop with six young people currently on the Fairbridge Programme at the Kennington Centre. It was awesome!
The DIY Gamer Kit is a hand held games console that you build yourself, using a soldering iron, and then using our free software and the Arduino platform you play, code and invent your own games.
The DIY Gamer Kit workshop involves an overview to creative technology, an introduction to our DIY Gamer Kit, soldering of components to build the DIY Gamer Kit and programming their own animations.
