Whether you’re in the film-industry or just have an interest in documentaries, join us with Patrick Hurley - Director of Marketplace and Talent at Sheffield Doc/Fest - to learn how to turn an idea into an internationally distributed film. Sheffield Doc/Fest is the UK’s biggest documentary festival and market and in this session Patrick will share tips and answer questions about navigating the documentary industry including how and when to pitch to commissioners at the BBC and Netflix.
