As part of Mayor of London's Car Free Day, we teamed up with The Royal Docks and storytellers Patchlarks to create a unique storytelling trail complete with an illustrated map to encourage families to explore the industrial history and contemporary stories of the Royal Docks by foot or bike. The A2 map is designed to open up a world of opportunity and show people how to reclaim their streets and rediscover this iconic area. Storytellers from Patchlarks were invited to bring the adventure to life on 19 September, and a series of surprise characters animated the trail from Royal Victoria Dock to Thames Barrier Park. Printed maps were available to the public to pick up for free at a number of locations around the Royal Docks.
