Ali Adams is an Atlanta-based multidisciplinary designer who focuses on branding, strategy, visual design and art direction. He’s passionate about creating brand identities, digital experiences, and branded content that connects culture and commerce together. He believes in the relationship great experiences create, the power of a good story and the superiority of good design.

  • Open Conjecture
    Open Conjecture Open Conjecture is an artificial intelligence research firm based in Austin, Texas. Their aim is to help retailers understand, operate and communicate their data in the ever-changing retail environment. We were commissioned to design an identity and a digital platform for their brand. We used minimal characteristics and vibrant imagery to help translate their technicality into an exciting, and bold identity. The website was designed to provide a simple, well-considered user experience that better represents their aims and expertise.
  • BSERK SPORTS: Make IT Tour
    BSERK SPORTS: Make IT Tour BSERK Make IT tour is a two-weekend event that brings together industry’s top influencers and forward-thinkers to explore the relationship between fitness and entrepreneurship. The tour inspires the participants to explore new opportunities to bring their ideas to life and shape the future of the industry. We set out to explore new ways to brand a fitness seminar. The challenge was to bring the mainstream aspect of fitness seminars (where you mostly shadow your fitness idols) and amplify it to teach them ways to market and position themselves in the ever-changing industry. With that sentiment in mind, we designed the branding to position the tour as an immersive, premium experience for attendees. To deliver this, we focused on the idea of ‘exploration’ and ‘idols’, linking the tour’s landscape with a bold and eye-catching logotype and artwork.

    BSERK SPORTS: Packaging system Based in Los Angeles, Bserk Sports is a supplements company that believes in a simple goal — to create products that are intuitive to use, made from natural and clean ingredients. This goal represents a greater opportunity to improve the way people live and perform in an industry that promotes unrealistic and unnatural results. Bserk’s products empower people to push boundaries, while the ingredients remain kind to their bodies to help them live a productive and healthy lifestyle. We created a new brand name, identity and packaging system that focused on the simplification of the somewhat confusing supplements industry, removing the filling and unrealistic messages that are typically found in the branding of supplements. The new packaging communicates the purity of the ingredients and reflects the science behind the product, thereby making it easier for the consumer to know the “Why” and “How” the product will help them with their goals.     SunlessGlow 2GOSunless Glow is a Los Angeles-based company that combines natural ingredients to create healthy and sustainable tanning solutions. Their philosophy of using only eco-conscious ingredients and doing things “by hand” adds immeasurable value to their products and customers. We considered that in making the brand marque and the result was an identity combining pastel palette with minimal typography that communicates the purity and quality of their range.

May 2015 - Atlanta, Georgia, United States Bserk Sports Partner, Creative Director - Performed an overhaul of the company branding, and was responsible for the naming, visual identity, and web presence. - Designed and maintained the brand visual guidelines. - Designed and developed the website using HTML/CSS/JS + Shopify. - Designed a new packaging system to help bring clarity and simplify the somewhat confusing process of choosing the right supplements for your needs. The new branding was featured on the Dieline and nominated for best packaging in sports/supplement category. - Hosted and designed the Bserk Make IT Tour. The tour success then was replicated in six different cities.
