My career spans over 20 years across the industry from an artworker, designer, art director to head of creative. I have extensive experience in print, digital, branding, advertising and direct mail. As a hands-on creative, I enjoy all aspects of the design process, not just the conceptualising; from the crafting of the idea to its completion, realising a vision with my team is just as important for me. Working to tight deadlines and with a range of clients, I thrive on the diversity of skills that I need on any given day. I am passionate about the brands I work with; combining a talent for fresh and original creative solutions with precise attention to detail means that each project is crafted to its optimum and delivered to an exacting standard. Thanks to my career path I’ve been able to learn all these skills on my journey from artworker to art director. Now I am dedicated to the teams that I lead, using my experience to help guide them and grow their individual skills. I am keen to further my own skills in building, leading and motivating design teams in my future roles. For me, creativity is an integral part of life’s design. Now i manage teams and use I’m keen on developing my skills further so i can also grow and become a successful and dedicated leader. I enjoy being hands on with my projects whenever possible, not because I’m a control freak, but because for me the process doesn’t stop at the idea.
