My career started as a designer and quickly moved through the ranks to Senior Art Director, where I was able to show my conceptual thinking and the skills to bring my ideas to life. After spending many years working in this space, I used my experiences and skills to lead other creatives and build a successful career as a creative leader. My passion now is to help designers and creatives under my guidance grow and embrace creativity and have the confidence to express their personalities through their work. Initially brought on-board to lead and build a complete re-brand for the business. Other duties included managing a team of four designers, working with marketing directors from Asia, Middle East and Americas to build the brand globally. Day to day running of the creative department and its budgets. Working with an external agency to build a new global website and lead the project with an on-site web developer.
After being part of the Oliver pitch team to win the Eurostar account, I was made Head of Creative and worked on-site to build the creative services. This included employing a new team to work with the existing Eurostar team. Other duties included: working on a new summer campaign including a TV spot, outdoor and press advertising. I also redesigned the new logo for Eurostar that would work across print and digital.
As the Senior Art Director, I lead a team of designers working on several main accounts. These included AXA, AA, Places for People, GLL, RRADAR, KPMG and Samsung. I also worked alongside and developed on-site teams at Starbucks, Pepsico and Hasbro. I then moved onto working on global pitches and new business alongside the ECD for our Singapore office as part of building our global footprint. Clients included Guardian Pharmacy and the Singapore Government.
Lead branding across all sports engagement also creating print and digital campaigns for events.
My role included working on offline advertising and branding for keys channels including sky sports, sky news and creating internal campaigns for HR. I also designed and created the livery for Sky production and home service vehicles.
Creating and pitching new in-paper advertising and activities for global brands. Clients included: Swatch, Nokia, Warner Bros, Adidas, H&M and Mango. We won an M&M award in 2009 for a Nokia campaign I worked on.
I was part of the senior creative team with the senior writer working on advertising and marketing for clients such as Scottish Widows, NFU Mutal, Avia, Schroders and Prudential. I became brand guardian for Prudential and lead all of their B2B campaigns.
Part of the senior creative team delivering recruitment advertising for clients including Metropolitan Police, Eurostar and Amnesty International. Won a RAD award in 2002 for Best IT recruitment advertisement for Amnesty International.
