- F.C. 2019 Gothenheim -I am part of the leadership team for a gothic (yes, gothic) football team that plays twice in year in Whitby against a local team, Stokoemotiv, raising funds for local charities as well as SOS Children's Villages and Willow Foundation. Formed in 2019, I am the 'admin lady' - setting up the Community Interest Company with HMRC, handling all the finances, ordering the kit, working with the charities, designing the logo, setting up all the social media channels and managing all the content. - Nasty SurprisesThe Brief: With Volkswagen Fixed Price Servicing your bill won’t go up. You’ll get no ‘Nasty Surprises’. They wanted some fun content to bring this otherwise dry piece of information to life. The Solution: I wanted to add a little bit of the classic Volkswagen warmth to this fairly functional narrative. So I came up with the concept of a pastiche of a horror film, building up to (hopefully) a laugh. Following this I wrote the scripts and followed the film through production. It has been used on the Volkswagen UK social channels as well as in showrooms across the country.
- GTI & Underworld #PlayTheRoadGTI pioneered the hot hatch car category. To promote the GTI Mk7, Volkswagen wanted to innovate again. Our solution, reinvent driving music. We wanted to create something that focused on the fun of driving, something that heightened the experience of being behind the wheel of a GTI. We recalled those serendipitous moments of driving, where the music would kick-in at the perfect time and the drive would become cinematic. That’s the feeling we wanted to recreate for the GTI driver. Driving music that was perfectly suited to how and where you drive, creating a real time composition that’s in perfect harmony with the car itself. To create the experience we recruited world-renowned musicians Underworld along with a specialist team of reactive music producers and after months of cruising and coding the result is a truly unique app that generates an original composition in real-time, with every drive.
