It’s events are high-profile, international, editorial and commercial. Managed large numbers of overlapping events, advised at strategy level Interviewed and line-managed events team members and managed large teams of editorial, sponsors, partners, suppliers and event staff. Created, set and managed timelines, set and managed budget, set agendas and milestones, chaired weekly progress meetings and advised on and oversaw marketing strategy. Advised departments across The Guardian, including new initiatives Guardian Labs and Membership on budgeting, client and sponsor relationship building, strategy and management. Responsible for The Guardian and Observer’s biggest and highest profile event Observer Food Monthly Awards attended by 400 of the biggest names in the food industry and sponsored by the likes of Sainsbury's and Waitrose. Management of The Guardian's first Open Weekend Festival and biggest ever event, consisting of 2 days, 300 events and 5000 attendees.
