Faika Cansın Stewart was born in Istanbul in the nineties. Currently based in Scotland, she holds a BA in History of Art from Université Paris-Sorbonne and an MSc in Modern and Contemporary Art: History, Curating and Criticism from the University of Edinburgh.
Formerly Communications Officer at the French Institute in Scotland operating at the intersection of strategy, digital marketing, web, mobile, and social, her work consisted in making the institution more accessible through print and the internet.
Nowadays, she works as a translator of literature and non-fiction including art writing and subtitles.

- Okané FinanceCommunications, Project development, Global ID & UX Design [Stockholm, August 2018 - February 2019] Okané is a Stockholm-based French fin-tech. The company takes its name from the noun Okané お金 meaning money in Japanese, with a honorific connotation. I collaborated with the CEO for their communications and community management on a 6 months project prior the the official launch in France, and was responsible of the art direction, social media management, branding & UX Design and business deve
- Bak-EdUX & UI Design [Inverness, 2019] Bak-Ed is a personal design project that I had the chance to explore further during the User Interface Design Course of California Institute of the Arts, taught by Michael Worthington. I also took this opportunity to push forward my interest in interface and made designs that are more about line, type and flat surface. It is a conceptual display of project in progress.
