In my current role as Art Director, my key responsibilities are both ensuring that the Glassworks brand stays consistent, as well as always working to drive the brand forward. During my time in this role I have worked on many large scale projects, from retail design to large scale photography rebrands, while always maintaining the day to day running of all creative for the company. Key aspects of the role: Brand Development > Overseeing all creative work produced, from photography to marketing material, ensuring that all final published work is visually consistent and speaks in the correct tone of voice. Analysing who the Glassworks key customer is and ensuring that all brand development is tailored to her. Working on key brand messages and new ways to continuously push the message forward, including key webpage redesigns, rebranding and standardising all email marketing and social media. Photography Rebranding > A full rebrand and ongoing maintenance of all aspects of photography for the companies online platform, including e-commerce model shoots, product photography and editorial shoots. Responsible for selecting and managing the creative team to work on the production of the images, as well as being responsible for post production, producing fully retouched, web appropriate images. Retail Design > Responsible for the design and launch of two stand alone Glassworks stores. This included being responsible for the entire process of bringing a new store to realisation, from location scouting, to budget and time management of construction, right through to creating the spaces itself from initial concepts and designs to the final product.
During my time as In-House Graphic Designer for Glassworks I was responsible for producing all creative material for the brand. Key aspects of the role include front end web design, email marketing design and management, creative online and print marketing, photography coordination and editorial shoot art direction, image retouching and day to day website management.
Responsible for assisting in the launch and day to day running of Glassworks online store. During this time I worked on various email marketing templates, including promotional material for the companies launch. I was responsible for producing imagery for the site homepage and web banner advertising campaigns. I also worked on the companies still life photography, both shooting and retouching product flats for the online e-commerce platform and for press.
Responsible for working on promotional material and seasonal lookbooks for footwear brand Clarks. I handled various projects from initial ideas, right through to completion, working within the guidelines of the clients brief and with constant consideration for the brand image. I also assisted other designers in the team wherever needed, working on clients such as Westfield London and Sports Girl.
