I am a Senior Graphic Designer with over 7 years experience working in the fashion and beauty industry. Specialising in brand development and management, I am creative, organised and driven, with a special interest in all aspects of design for retail.
In my current role at Ted’s Grooming Room I am responsible for all aspects of creative for the brand, from initial concept right through to final design, including all art-working and production. Key aspects of the role: Packaging and Printed Branding > Responsible for producing all key brand materials, including bespoke carrier bags and core printed graphics to be featured in all stores company wide. In-Store Creative > Producing a wide range of in-store graphics including bespoke wallpaper concepts and designs, a wide variety of promotional prints, POS, in-store signage and seasonal vinyl window displays. Marketing Campaigns and Promotional Concepts > Responsible for producing seasonal promotional material for the brand, including bespoke promotional prints for targeted stores, event invites, vouchers and creative giveaways. Other responsibilities within this role include strong time management, prioritising work load, continuous delivery of key brand graphics including social assets and website imagery, as well as art-working all designs, liaising with printers and managing production.
During my time at Glassworks my key responsibilities were both ensuring that the brand stayed consistent, as well as always working to drive the brand forward. I worked on many large scale projects, from retail design to large scale photography rebrands, while always maintaining the day to day running of all creative for the company. Brand Development > Overseeing all creative work produced, from photography to marketing material, ensuring that all published work was visually consistent and on brand. Photography Art Direction > Art directing and producing all editorial and e-commerce shoots, from initial concepts and ideas, to location scouting, model selection and art direction. Retail Design > Managing the full fit out and design of two Glassworks retail spaces, from concept to completion, as well as working on in-store visual merchandising and window displays. Website Design > Responsible for a full e-commerce site redesign, including all web pages and account emails, a full technical specification for the site, and managing web developers. Other responsibilities > Delivery of key brand graphics including website imagery, email marketing and social media creative. Managing admin and budgets for all department expenses, as well as managing a team of freelance photographers, hair and make up artists and models.
Responsible for assisting in the launch and day to day running of Glassworks online store. During this time I worked on various email marketing templates, including promotional material for the companies launch. I was responsible for producing imagery for the site homepage and web banner advertising campaigns. I also worked on the companies still life photography, both shooting and retouching product flats for the online e-commerce platform and for press.
Responsible for working on promotional material and seasonal lookbooks for footwear brand Clarks. I handled various projects from initial ideas, right through to completion, working within the guidelines of the clients brief and with constant consideration for the brand image. I also assisted other designers in the team wherever needed, working on clients such as Westfield London and Sports Girl.
