  • Il n’y a pas un noir.
Il n’y a pas un noir.2012 | ZHdK | Metal Type Print After designing a poster for a fictional fashion event, we utilized the majority of our time in a workshop, where we learned how to deal with metal type print. As we worked with a quote from Yves Saint-Laurent („Il n'y a pas un noir, mais des noirs“), we printed diverse shades of grey over black paper to endorse and reinforce the quote’s message.  Software used: Adobe InDesign In corporation with Janina Hess.
  • Zimmerli – 50 years Royal Classic
Zimmerli – 50 years Royal Classic2014 | ZHdK | Poster Competition To celebrate the 50th anniversary of their line Royal Classic, Zimmerli – a company internationally renowned for its luxurious underwear – approached us with a competition. Each student was tasked with creating a poster inspired by the traditional Swiss Style of the 1950s. The objective was to combine aspects of the traditional; yet, also defy convention, and appeal to a younger target audience who wish for and represent a more contemporary approach. We addresse
  • Swarovski - Atlas of Luxury
Swarovski - Atlas of Luxury2015 | ZHdK | Information Design Atlas Of Luxury was a project where we had to find and research our own topic, generate data, and present it in a visually interesting form. We selected the brand Swarovski because of its ambivalence in presentation. On one hand, they addressed everyday people with their products and prices, but on the other, they collaborated with big name brands in the fashion industry such as Jean-Paul Gaultier and Maison Martin Margiela. Therefore, we had two parts to our Atlas commercial: 1) We focused on their enormous variety of figurines and 2) the exceptional luxury exhibited in high-end collaborations. Additionally, there were maps and info graphics about Swarovski, the company.   Software used: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator In corporation with Kathrin Grossenbacher und Janina Hess.

  • The Voice Lab
The Voice Lab2015 | ZHdK | Interior Design Randomly chosen items was the basis of this project; In our case specifically, these were tools that imitated animal calls. According to regulations, we were to design a museum in which these tools were to be showcased. Our target audience was a school class; therefore, we decided to create a museum based on interactions between visitors and the room. With an app, guests can embark on a scavenger hunt through the museum and, at the end, enter a small voice lab in which they must solve a final task. By clever design, we discovered an entertaining solution to encourage children to visit museums and enjoy learning new things.  Software used: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator In corporation with Miriam Brack.
  • TONIGRAM
TONIGRAM2016 | ZHdK | Interdisciplinary Project In a competition for the head of the university (ZHdK), we created a giveaway called TONIGRAM. The combination of Industrial Design and Graphic Design led us to develop a game in the style of a Tangram. It represents Toni Areal, the building in which the university is based. The different pieces represent the various disciplines part of ZHdK. All together, they form the university building. However, you can rebuild new patterns by rearranging the pieces. The logic and ability attached to the game’s function coincides very well with the philosophy of the university, because it celebrates interdisciplinary projects, experimentation, and research that births new solutions to old problems.  Software used: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator In corporation with Lea Birrer.
