About me

Solo Founder & Creative Director: My Icon StoryTM. I have developed a new interactive design-your-own-print platform that enables customers to turn their personal stories, travels and life into bespoke art prints. My Icon StoryTM is a custom built responsive web platform and I have been responsible for the functionality and design specification as well as all the social, marketing, business plan and production fulfilment via a 3rd party print on demand partner. Solo Founder & Creative Director: Laura Alice Limited. I am a designer/maker specialising in minimalist icon art and design with a product range that has been selected to feature at Top Drawer Spotted and New Designers One Year On. I have collaborated with Jewellery designer Esa Evans and take on bespoke commissions for private and commercial clients. I most recently designed a piece for Clear Channel UK. Through these businesses I have experience in Web Development, UX Design, Product Development, Project Management.

  • Wavemaker is MEC's new content and creative offering and as Creative Lead my focus is to drive award winning work by fostering a culture of creativity throughout Wavemaker's sub departments including media partnerships, sport partnerships, event exepriential, social and digital engagement. I'm responsible for developing creative concepts that can be activated across all earned and owned media platforms as well as increasing our integration of new technology and innovation through digital firsts. Building relationships with media owners, rights holders, developers, production and key industry partners is also central to my role to ensure Wavemaker offers a truly collaborative way of working to deliver the best in class creative solutions for MEC's clients.

Digital Health Stops for Public Health England - Use of Digital Technologies

The Drum

  • In a world first, Clear Channel, DOOH.com and MEC transformed bus shelters across the UK into Digital Health Stops for Public Health England. State-of-the-art digital screens integrated face tracking technology with dynamic content, live and localised data and a bespoke telephony system, to create an interactive Out of Home experience - providing tailored, personalised health messages on a national scale.

Silver Young Cannes Lion

Cannes Lions School

  • After winning the National Young Lions competition in the UK for Media, I represented the whole of UK Media and competed in the 2012 Cannes Young Lions competition and worked on a brief for The Big Issue magazine. My media partner and I had 24 hours to put together a presentation and prepare a 5 minute presentation. After competing globally against 27 other countries we were awarded a Silver Lion award and became the first UK team to ever be placed in the Media Young Lions.
