  • #WomenWhoTravel - EasyFX
#WomenWhoTravel - EasyFXWhen building the EasyFX brand we noticed that there was a lack of diversity in travel stock imagery, particularly of women. In a bold move, one month after relaunching EasyFX and on International Women’s Day, the 8th March, we launched the #WomenWhoTravel campaign. This campaign called on diverse women from all around the world to share their images on Instagram under the hashtag #womenwhotravel to help break the image stereotypes of women who travel. This campaign sparked global interest and
  • The Re-position and Re-launch of EasyFX, a prepaid multi-currency card
The Re-position and Re-launch of EasyFX, a prepaid multi-currency cardThe Brief: To transform EasyFX into a retail brand The Old EasyFX Brand: It was a dated brand with an inconsistent message, unclear product offering, disorganised and unmanaged digital presence. Key Challenges: A crowded marketplace with digital fintech disruptors such as Revolut and Transferwise making waves and key players like FairFX making landmark improvements to their digital offering. Not forgetting the competition from traditional FX players like the bureaus de changes, bank forex tellers and debit card withdrawals abroad. We also recognised the need to shift EasyFX from a more traditional institutional brand that operated on the periphery of the retail foreign exchange market, to creating a digital product that could hold its competitive ground against the innovative fintechs without isolating its existing customers. The working included: Business consulting and strategy Redesign of the brand, branding collateral, the website, the mobile app Updated the customer support protocol and included a digital element Digital marketing communications - taking the new brand to market

    London, United KingdomFreelance
I founded ChewingRice in 2012 as a freelancer at SapientRazorfish. After 12 months at Sapient, I took on a permanent role there, where I spent the next few years of my career. I left in 2016 to start a fashion e-commerce project for the unbanked in Kenya which is pre-launch. While setting up Ugogo, the project in Kenya, I started taking on short-term marketing strategy projects. However, the work mushroomed and I inadvertently created a co-operative of female freelancers with different but complimentary skillsets who execute against long-term or short-term projects. We have delivered on projects as diverse as fashion & finance and although we are headquartered in London, we have well established remote capabilities so can service clients all over the world.
