Since 2004 I have been working as a Graphic Designer and Creative Director with high-profile brands including Gatecrasher, Goodgreef, Gretsch Drums, Universal Music, and The University of Sheffield.
I believe design should be highly conceptual, not painfully trendy, and I strive to produce thoughtful work, centred on a big idea.

- Identity Design: Dust PalaceDust Palace is a premium drum sample label, working with the industry’s most talented drummers and producers. Audio samples are viewed as a commodity. In many cases, competitor branding reflects this, with garish artwork fighting for the attention of customers scrolling through online marketplaces. Dust Palace are differentiating themselves through high-quality products, unusual sounds, and by building a unique and trusted brand. The curious moniker describes the polished finish of the final
- Identity Design: KBLCBrand consultancy and identity design for a new business offering coaching, training, and online courses in leadership. Most competitors either appear bland and corporate, or promote the coach as an archetypal social media influencer personality, with an emphasis on glamour and lifestyle photography. The task here was to create something fresh and vibrant that appealed to a new generation of leaders and made them the hero of the story, not the coach. Full case study on my website.
- Crest to IconA personal project undertaken during the 2020 Lockdown, to create a simple identifying icon for all twenty football clubs in the English Premier League (2019/20 season). Shared on Instagram, each ten-slide carousel included mock ups of the icon design in use and a review of the team’s official crest history, and wider branding.
