Michael McPheat is a Freelance 3D Designer, specialising in Brand Environments. He is originally from Milton Keynes and now based in North London.
He has worked with a number of leading agencies, delivering fresh, memorable and relevant design experiences for international clients in Retail, Hospitality and other commercial sectors.
His biggest accomplishment to date includes working with Dalziel & Pow to develop a new identity for fashion brand Selected. From the initial define stage to design delivery, he oversaw the realisation of the concept in over 80 locations across China.
His work reflects his passion for inspired, thoughtful and functional design. He is also heavily influenced by contemporary art and travel, using his experiences to create work that is exciting and accessible to everyone.

- M&P Shop-in-ShopMamas & Papas / Concept / Dalziel & Pow To create a shop in shop offer that hooks new parents into the M&P brand right at the start of their journey. The existing design concept was developed to work in a completely modular format so that it could change in scale depending on the footprint in store. Inspired by industrial framework and scaffolding, the aesthetic was updated by using clean, contemporary materials and soft colours
- Plaza de CastellanaEl Corte Ingles / Madrid / FITCH Design Produce key visuals for a large format department store, informed by a contemporary palette that reflects the context of the site and its consumers to continue as the key retail destination in Madrid. My focus was to develop the atrium space - or Plaza de Castellana - as a flexible environment for retail, events, hospitality and a centre for information, due to its central location to the large footprint.
