- MACD & Co.MACD & Co. is a degree show of the two-year master course at Central Saint Martins I graduated. As a head designer, my role was to develop the concept of its visual identity and to design and art direct the elements that include the gallery space, promotional graphics, merchandise, videos and a website with four colleagues of the design team. - a Year of LettersA calendar is one of the most common pieces of print on desks / walls. I had always wondered if typefaces themselves work as pictures to express changing seasons instead of using images with numerals of dates. The aim of this calendar is to recapture the perception of seasons in the modern lives in Tokyo since it has been very crucial elements of Japanese culture. I designed twelve new typefaces of numerals that reflect Japanese seasonal words for each month and a sans-serif as a result.
- Whatever PressWhatever Press is an independent publishing house established as a playground to experiment with the ‘English-of-the-everyday’. By deconstructing elements of the English language and playfully reconstructing them again, this project intends to nudge the audience to reflect on spoken English, and the unconscious ways in which it shapes our perception of reality.
