I’m a driven, detail-oriented and ambitious mid-weight digital designer who is truly passionate about what I do. Part of an internal digital team, I work together with a Digital Creative Lead, senior UX architect and an in-house developer to design and develop digital products. I work on standalone projects, laising directly with the client, as well as part of branding projects where I work closely with other teams across the agency to ensure a consistent brand experience, and with freelancers who I am responsible for briefing and overseeing.
Responsible for the design of the TV Everywhere platform across Mobile, Tablet and Web. Reporting directly to the UXD lead and key members of the product team I worked closely with a Senior UX designer and aided in the direction of a contractor to ensure the design adhered to a strict set of brand guidelines. I was in constant communication with remote development teams providing guidance for the application of visual elements.
Responsible for taking designs supplied by franchise holders and amending the layout and design to fit in with a ‘white label’ set of wireframes across tablet and mobile. Mainly working solo in the studio I created a range of assets, artwork, and layouts for complex sets of information and figured out ways of presenting it in concise and understandable ways and provided guidance to a development team.
Worked directly with the team lead to produce user flows as well as work through design solutions across TV, web, and mobile. I aided in the creation of assets for special promotions which would feel at home living alongside existing solutions.
In my time here I worked on a variety of projects across many design disciplines including Branding, Packaging, and web design. I started off in a support role, aiding in the creation of assets within other projects, and towards the end had progressed to taking on my own projects, designing identities from scratch.
I worked with a varied collection of clients ranging from bands and photographers, to game development studios and chauffeuring companies. I threw myself in at the deep end and exposed the strengths and weaknesses in my creative practice, the experience was instrumental in advancing my skills both personally and professionally, and taught me a lot about maintaining good client relationships.
