From creating explainer animations for educational institutions and helping to create brand identity and promotional graphics for the food and drink sector, I don’t limit myself to one creative field. This allows me to develop skills in design, motion and illustration, which opens up incredible opportunities to work with an ever-increasing variety of clients. The creative process can be very demanding but there is nothing more rewarding than achieving a client’s design requirements, whatever they may be.

- McFly's ChickenEvery item on the McFly’s menu is vibrant and full of colour, so it was important that the branding reflected their dishes. As we explored the menu item names and ingredients, a variety of typographic and illustrated posters were designed for the restaurant interiors, adding some decoration to the walls and reflecting the eclectic menu ingredients. In addition to this, animated Giphy stickers of menu items and additional brand assets were created to be used across the company Instagram accoun
- Brawsome BagelsBrawsome approached me for help to further develop their existing brand style, which was close to what they wanted but needed that extra push. After a few rounds of further research and development, an updated bagel character and wordmark was created, influenced by 1930s animated characters and Americana graphic styles. To further the brand style, we devised a typically Scottish “Ye Want Some?” tagline that was transferred to additional brand assets to be used across packaging and merchandise.
- Namaste by Delhi DarbarThe Namaste restaurant is the latest venture from the long-running Glasgow favourite Delhi Darbar based in Bishopbriggs. They offer a unique menu of delicious dishes, specialising in regional cuisine from India, with a focus on quality and fresh ingredients. I was approached to develop the brand identity and website, and worked alongside Interior Design studio Burns Design, to develop colour schemes, interior decoration and fabrics for the restaurant. - The Rum ShackThe Rum Shack is a Caribbean bar, canteen and music, performance and community space venue in Glasgow's Southside. After working with the team previously on branding and promotions for their street food venture, I was asked to work on the company branding, menu design and some illustration work for the bar’s interiors. Working closely with one of the founders of the company who has family from Trinidad & Tobago, we delved into Caribbean culture and West Indian folklore to create a brand style
- The Rum SlingerThe Rum Slinger is a rum subscription service where every month 3 rums are selected from varying rum producing regions and delivered direct to your home. The Rum Slinger were looking for a simple and recognisable logo, something that could be used across their packaging and marketing materials. We researched old rum packaging, delivery crates and Caribbean postal stamps to come up the logo. This simple style carried over to the bottle labels to display the rum ingredients and product details.
- Maguire SolicitorsMaguire Solicitors are one of Glasgow's premier law firms, specialising in Immigration and Asylum Law. Maguire’s required a brand refresh and expansion on their current marketing assets. By making some minor alterations to the typeface, creating a new pattern from their current logomark, and adding some supporting character illustrations, we brought an updated look and expanded their brand identity.
