Projects
  • VICE
VICESince August 2017 I've been regularly commissioned by VICE UK to write on topics including music, internet trends, youth culture and queer issues.
  • Time Out London
Time Out LondonSince May 2019 I've been doing regular in-house shifts at Time Out London, where I've worked across the City Life and Things to Do sections of the website and weekly print magazine, as well as creating content for the global website.
  • DIY Magazine
DIY MagazineSince October 2019 I've been regularly commissioned to write profiles and interviews for DIY Magazine, including interviewing slowthai, The Big Moon, Soccer Mommy, Arlo Parks and girl in red.
  • VICE x VanMoof
VICE x VanMoofI was asked by VICE to research and write a branded content article about London's stolen bike black market to advertise VanMoof's theft-proof smart bikes. As stolen bikes are often resold online via sites like Gumtree and eBay, I contacted sellers with suspicious listings on these sights as well as speaking to VanMoof's stolen bike recovery team. I really enjoyed the challenge of creating original and informative content which also raised awareness of VanMoof's products.
  • VICE x Art Fund
VICE x Art FundIn 2019 I worked with VICE on a branded content campaign for Art Fund, which aimed to raise awareness of the Under 30 National Art Pass. I pitched and wrote the Newcastle and Glasgow editorials, as well as being commissioned to write the Cumbria and Norfolk/Suffolk pieces. Creating relevant content that appealed to the urban millennial VICE audience a

Having freelanced regularly at Time Out London since July 2019, I joined the company in November 2021 as the sole editor responsible for the magazine's Things to Do section, which encompassed a section in the fortnightly print magazine and a suite of core list features on the Time Out London website. With the print magazine retired in June 2022, I was tasked with launching and editing the brand's exciting new daily editorial newsletter Out Here alongside continuing to edit the Things to Do section online. I have also had the privilege of orchestrating several recent cover features, including Time Out's first two digital-only covers, our Pride issue with Munroe Bergdorf and our celebration of the Women's Euros featuring Alex Scott.
