- Studio PI: Championing diversity in the creative industryAs a woman of colour from a working-class family, I always felt like a unicorn in the creative industry. So it came as no surprise to see that the UK Government's All-Party Parliamentary Group for Creative Diversity found that certain sections of society are currently under-represented in this industry. Women. People of colour. People living with disabilities. People from working-class backgrounds. I launched Studio PI to redress this balance. It exists to champion those individuals whose voi
- You Clap for Me NowYou Clap for Me Now is a poem to remind us all that a large number of ‘essential key workers’ are from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds. The challenge was to attract a new, younger and more culturally diverse audience without losing the existing readership, up-paging or sacrificing any of the words. Yup - I said it was a challenge... We stripped it back, added a lot of white space and gave it a fresh, modern and
- Movember: Voice maleAs part of a campaign for The Movember Foundation, we wanted to encourage men to speak up and raise awareness around the increasing rise of male suicide.
