Head of Creative for the launch of Blaze - Sky's newest free-to-air channel. I was responsible for building the brand from scratch and overseeing all branding, on-air & off-air elements. I also conceptualised and executed three ATL campaigns across press, TV, radio & on-line.
Assisting the Creative Directors by developing and lead top priority 360º marketing campaigns across on-air, outdoor, print, digital & radio; notably the current ATL campaign for ‘Britain’s Next Top Model’ with Abbey Clancy, the re-launch of ‘Fifth Gear’ across Europe and ‘Dance Mums with Jennifer Ellison’ (The most talked about show ever on A+E Networks). Responsible for bringing new ideas and demonstrating emerging technologies and advertising trends to ensure that external thinking constantly challenges, motivates and influences the creative team to continually improve the department’s output.
Led the creative team tasked with launching Lifetime channel in Africa and Poland. Developed TV, print, digital & ATL concepts for launch and created a promo house style. Managed A+E Networks most successful creative team, leading assignments, brainstorms and presentations. Oversaw the development of each team member’s work from idea to approval. Conducted annual appraisals and set personal & team objectives. Conceived, wrote and directed priority campaigns involving promo, print, digital & radio aspects.
Conceived, wrote and directed priority campaigns, notably Gangs of Britain with Gary & Martin Kemp; CI channel’s most successful multimedia campaign (Also gold Promax winner for Print, Promo & Directing) and Britain’s Darkest Taboos, the highest rating show in CI’s history. Led a successful multifaceted campaign to increase CI brand recognition culminating in the channel winning ‘Best Specialist Channel’ at The Broadcast Digital Awards. Deputised for the Head of Creative regularly to review and approve team members’ work.
