  • @Sam Carter when i first read Slaine it inspired me to go find the earth mother goddess and the sacred pagan groves and stone circles in England and join in with the Druids at avebury for annual festival summer solstice.

  • @thomas bickle Truly a legend of the game. When someone looks at me with contempt for mentioning a graphic novel I always remind them that Time Magazine placed Watchmen in it's top 100 novels of all time!
  • The Wrong Place, The Making of (both by Brecht Evens), Maus, Persepolis, Gemma Bovery, Skip by Molly Mendoza for the beautiful illustrations, I'm Not Ready by Jade Perkin, plus Asterix, my childhood favourite!

  • Anything written by Allan Moore! (league of extraordinary gentlemen /watchmen /v for vendetta). Also, I haven't read it yet, but I've seen some pages from 'Victory Point ' (I believe it's written and illustrated by Owen Pomeroy) and it looks pretty damn dreamy!
