Hello Creatives, if I tell you that creativity comes out when you are not thinking about creativity at all. What would you say?

- @Alex Falconer I like it! great point of view!
- @Travis Lyle well, try to do less then. because being busy is one of the most uncreative things ever happens in human brains.
- Sorry, was too busy not thinking about creativity. What was the question?
- It does. It's when the mind is at rest (and usually the body in motion) that it happens. Walking or doing mundane tasks and letting your conscious mind idle allows your subconscious to brew something up. And sleeping, of course. (I call this the night-shift).
- I feel like creativity is always present but it thrives when it is being held back because of the lack of creative release, but it’s always there.
- agree and disagree. A lot of my creative ideas come from things that I've taken in consciously and subconsciously, giving me things to draw from in my imagination, but it's also good to have a 'creative goal' to steer your ideas and make them relevant/work for the job that needs to be done.
- Focusing to much with a target of motivation like I have to create an output might distract the flow of thinking, but in some situations concentrating to a subject can bring many ideas after awhile
