Hello, first time poster here (gulp)…
I am a mature career-changer moving from a completely unrelated field (Teaching/education) to Graphic Design. And I have a young child too! Just wondering if there are any other older career changers (esp. 40+!) who are taking the plunge like me?
(I’m sure there are, but I often feel like everyone starting in the creative industries seem to be twenty-somethings with no family commitments!…lucky them! 😂) Thanks in advance!

- Hello Anna!I am also a mature career changer moving from the dental field back to the interior/3D design with two young children :)I feel is more to this life than working in a field that doesn't make you feel right or you just had enough. That was my inspiration last year due to the pandemic. Exploring my other side, relaunching myself, and looking forward to the future. - Hi Anna!Not 40+ but close enough, with two youngsters :) Switched (or to be trendy, pivoted) from a uni lecturer and researcher to a market & consumer researcher a few years back. At the end of 2020 I finally embraced the fact that I'm not the "one profession only" type of person so I began my training to become a coach as well.
