How are you giving yourself moments of pleasure?

I'm thinking about starting a personal illustration project, diving deep into the where's and how's of people's intake of personal pleasure during times of anxiety in the world.

If you could leave a way in which you're giving happiness to yourself, purely for the sake of pleasure. No consequence, just small moments of happiness. It doesn't need to wordy, but it can be if you'd like. Obscure ways are welcome, i'd love to hear the quicky things that give you small bits of joy

  • I've found recently that I turn a lot of my hobbies into full projects or side hustles so I've changed the way I do things for fun. If I'm going to decide to do something purely for my own enjoyment, it has to be something I can't possibly monetize or turn into a huge project. For example, I've been fixing old games consoles as a time-out from sitting and working all the time. It's also difficult enough that I can't think about work while I'm doing it!

  • Animal therapy is constantly picking me up in my luls, patting my dog on her head every once in a while is the perfect little boost.
  • i found that having a project gives me pleasure, when i´m feeling down i usually do some yoga, meditation, take a bath, go to sleep or keep myself in my room all black, all doors closed, with no light in the silence and listening to the silence, observing nature also gives me pleasure. I found that masturbation doesn´t produce the same pleasure , its just a rush of the moment that doesnt last, while the others i mentioned are better.
  • I have been staying positive by using my creativity and designing new illustrations. As shown on my feed: https://www.instagram.com/mark_karwowski/
  • I’m living days like there’s no hurry; that’s an impressive pleasure because I found my balance more than thinking to fill constantly my agenda.
That’s my pleasure for these days!
Anyway I’m cooking so many things, that’s a big pleasure too!
  • There's something comforting, homely even about dogs. The pattern and swirl of thier fur. A dog lost in dreaming, with thier weight pressing comfrotably into you. A good dog hug sorts out most of the world's problems.
