Organised by Wolff Olins

Because is a series of talks at Wolff Olins about how ideas come to life. We invite thinkers and makers who fundamentally use creativity to shape their work and their lives. It's an informal set up in early evenings, with snacs and drinks. This time we've got artist Damien Poulain talking. Come along.

Damien Poulain is an artist who works across design and architecture. His work is influenced by shintoist, tribal and heraldic symbols. He uses materials such as textiles, spray paint, sculpture and architectural volumes. Damien's work promotes optiism in building communities with the hope to bring people together.

Damien has had solo shows in London's Kemistry Gallery, Museum of Graphic Design in Holland, as well as Punk Gallery, Calm Claska and 21_21 Museum in Tokyo.
