JOB PURPOSE
Burberry is looking for a talented Art Director to join the Marketing team. Within this role you will oversee the creative strategy and delivery of a wide portfolio of marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for supporting Senior ADs on larger briefs and managing smaller briefs end-to-end, across model, stills and video shoots. As an Art Director, you’ll ensure every brief is executed to maximise commercial impact and aligns with our brand standards, seamlessly reflecting our brand’s creative vision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead or support on formulating creative strategy for each brief
  • Manage or support on all aspects of the creative process: research, ideation, concept presentation, on set delivery and post production
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify best suited collaborators
  • Create and deliver presentations to the highest standard
  • Brief and work closely with collaborators on set to ensure capture is in line with approved creative direction
  • Oversee post production and cropping processes
  • Develop and implement style guides for fashion model and still life categories
  • Manage and prioritise tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are adhered to and be flexible enough to adapt to changing priorities
  • Attend cross-department meetings throughout projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with photographers, styling and other freelance collaborators
  • Maintain on-the-pulse industry knowledge and a global awareness of trends to build innovative and relevant creative ideas
PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Proficient in software such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with additional relevant programs.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to efficiently manage workflow and schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear understanding of project deadlines.
  • Self-motivated creative with on-set experience, strong conceptual abilities, attention to detail, and a positive, collaborative attitude.

  • Proven creative experience working in luxury fashion production and/or design environments
  • A depth of experience in Art Direction
  • Strong relationships with creative collaborators
  • Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills.
  • Strong artistic and creative abilities, with a keen eye for design and typography.
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and an understanding of how to translate them into brand visuals.
  • Strong creative POV with an understanding of business objectives.
