Description

Spotify is seeking a highly curious, proactive and culturally-driven executive social media strategist, publisher and editor to support thought-leadership strategy and content creation on behalf of a key leader. This person would construct an editorial program that supports the executive’s digital persona across multiple social media platforms. This person has a deep aptitude for content creation, visual storytelling and understands asset production.
What You'll Do
  • Work directly with executive and their small team to set and maintain the overall positioning strategy for the growth and impact of the executive's digital persona
  • Identify relevant and authentic content that highlights key company priorities; share across executive channels, both through independent idea generation and via collaboration with other teams
  • Write long and short form copy which will be used for outgoing communications on the executive's social channel; ensure copy maintains a consistent tone and voice
  • Direct visual content creation and production to accompany social postings
  • Partner with teams across the business to ensure that their stories are being represented across the executive's social channel and that all materials are accounted for, including assets
  • Maintain a relationship with broader teams to confirm final publishing
Who You Are
  • 10+ years of experience in writing, journalism, social media management, executive thought leadership
  • A clear, concise writer with the ability to take complex topics and simplify into digestible thoughts
  • Ability to assume an executive’s voice and develop content in the communication style of the executive
  • Deep industry knowledge of business, technology and entrepreneurship with an interest in learning more about additional industries, including education and healthcare
  • Ability to interact with an executive with efficiency to gain insight and perspective on certain topics to support complementary content development
  • Strong executive presence and ability to operate in very senior corporate environments
  • A curious thinker who keeps a close pulse on global current events & cultural conversations
  • Proficiency on all social platforms, with a special focus on Twitter and Instagram
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling formats, including videos and graphics
  • Ability to shoot and edit videos or create graphics is a plus
  • Lack of personal agenda that pulls through in professional writing
  • Full working proficiency in English; Swedish language proficiency is a plus
  • An unimpeachable level of discretion

The United States base range for this position is $149,962 - $214,232, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. These ranges may be modified in the future.
