The Hogarth Technology Team are responsible for a wide range of hardware and software solutions. Spanning Private and Public Cloud Infrastructure, across self-managed, high-speed networks to transfer large amounts of production content, the Technology services provided need to be ‘always-on’ and deliver continuous transformation of our global estate. Our highly skilled team of engineers, administrators, analysts, developers and project managers are responsible for a wide array of bespoke and industry standard tools, providing our clients with the most efficient and innovative technologies in our sector.
What does a Business Analyst do at Hogarth?
Hogarth Worldwide is looking for a Business Analyst with experience working in an Agile development environment to join our Technology Transformation team in London, to work directly on an organisation-wide change project through new software implementation.
Our aim is to ensure Hogarth is able to offer a best-in-class solutions to our employees and clients. As we look to make our technology ever more central to everything we do, we are looking for a Business Analyst that can work closely with internal stakeholders and the Hogarth technology team to deliver our ambitious roadmap.
We offer this role for 9 months fixed term.
Key Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a crucial role on this finance and business transformation project, including:
Work with key users from within Hogarth to gain an understanding of required business processes and system requirements
Gain an understanding of our primary technical platforms and confidently discuss their features, limitations and long-term product roadmap
Work closely with our Product Development team to clearly communicate stakeholder requirements and act as proxy-Product Owner where required
Work closely with our Commercial & Client Services teams to translate data and configuration requirements that will support the successful capture and transformation of commercial data into a global standardised way of working
Become the interface between the Business Teams and Product Configuration team to analyse and validate data ahead of onboarding activities
Provide use cases, business processes and recommendations for Product Team. Including the preparation of user journeys, UX and workflows to support the Product teams and vendors.
Analyse and build accurate and detailed as-is and to-be business models incorporating process and benefit analysis
Help develop a standardised way of working, that will work for all Hogarth offices globally
Capture business objectives, KPIs & key metrics for performance and data requirements
Extensive experience in business analysis, within a finance and/or commercial setting is highly preferable
Experience in both agile and waterfall product development environments building enterprise grade web applications
Experience defining and documenting requirements
Experience supporting system integrations
Experience working and communicating with both business users and development teams
Good understanding of agile artefacts and processes such as user stories, product backlogs, scrum, release/sprint planning
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to be able to deal with stakeholders at differing technical levels
Comfortable running workshops and understanding requirements from end users
Ability to prioritise activities and manage complex projects and dependencies
