Role: Copywriter (This is an 80% role working four days a week)
Location: London, England, United Kingdom
Working in partnership with our client (an internationally known B2B organisation), the Copywriter will create engaging, powerful, and impactful copy for digital collateral including web pages, email campaigns, social media assets, presentations, and other digital marketing mediums. Our client’s ambition is to offer a best-in-class digital customer experience. Captivating copy plays a key role in ensuring an engaging and memorable digital customer journey. We operate a dedicated Digital Centre of Excellence within our clients’ pharmaceutical division. The Digital Centre of Excellence exists to drive, embed, and exploit digital best practice. Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Copywriter will have strong experience writing and adapting copy for traditional digital mediums and will have experience writing copy geared towards a B2B audience. You will be well versed in interpreting brand TOV guidelines and using to help guide and influence personalised and tailored comms that is specific to the channel that the copy is intended for. You will know what good copy looks like and will be knowledgeable in knowing what makes traffic click.
Produce original copy for digital mediums including emails, web pages, social assets and PPC.
Brainstorm visual and copy ideas with other members of the team.
Work closely with the team to deliver copy requirements ensuring consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand guidelines.
Being able to interpret and help build a tone of voice consistent to the client throughout all copy and proactively make recommendations for the direction of client projects.
Researching and planning how to communicate in a style and voice that truly resonates with your B2B audiences.
Form close relationships within the dedicated digital centre of excellence and with the wider client marketing team to source product and audience information and unique selling points to help promote our client’s event and digital product offerings.
Generate engaging, customer-focused content that results in an engaging and memorable customer experience.
Use briefs to create original on-brand copy across a variety of channels to a high standard, sticking to tight deadlines.
The ability to work well under pressure and manage workloads and multiple projects effectively.
Be self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative, with a can-do attitude.
You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
What you need to be great in this role:
Good knowledge of digital marketing and the role that each digital channel plays in the digital marketing ecosystem.
Having an agency background and working within a fast-paced environment.
Experience in B2B and multiple industry sectors (pharmaceutical is advantageos).
Writing copy to promote B2B events.
Ability to create original, impactful, and engaging work for digital and print campaigns.
A record in creating immaculate copy that stands out from the crowd.
The ability to plan and strategize high-profile projects.
An excellent team player who is collaborative and adept at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
5+ years of relevant experience.
