We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the Channel 5 Marketing team. The Channel 5 Marketing team are responsible for promoting the Channel 5 portfolio of channels, showcasing the best content available and challenging the current content perceptions, delivering campaigns that build reputation and reach. We are a dynamic and energetic team and sit at the heart of what Channel 5 is all about – phenomenal TV.
This role is a key position within the Channel 5 marketing team and requires someone with a good knowledge of entertainment and social media to continue building on the channel’s success.
The Digital Marketing Executive will be actively involved in all aspects of delivering social media and performance media campaigns for Channel 5. We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who’s instinctive, able to pivot and adaptable to deliver growth.
You will be responsible for ensuring that digital aspects of paid campaigns follow the agreed process, are delivered to brief and on time. Working in a support capacity for through-the-line campaigns and other paid media projects (including delivery of campaign elements, project timelines, budget sheets, WIP reports, meeting facilitation etc). The successful candidate will need to communicate effectively and work closely with several internal stakeholders, e.g. creative, PR, as well as external agencies and partners.
We all love television at Channel 5 and are looking for someone who shares this passion.
What will you be doing?
  • Work alongside the campaign team, social managers and performance marketing to deliver digital campaigns for Channel 5, in line with the broader media strategy.
  • Responsible for the delivery of assets to partners
  • Ensure all output is on brand and correct, in line with key message priorities.
  • Briefing creative teams on weekly deliverables
  • Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure all regulations are adhered to in creative.
  • Building PCAs and case studies, outlining key insights post campaign, and tracking/sharing of standard processes.
  • Liaising with production and distribution partners regarding key assets and materials including imagery, footage, and copyright.
  • Keep ahead of developments in the field of digital marketing and social, maintaining links with the industry and incorporating fresh research or approaches into marketing plans where applicable.
  • Build strong relationships both internally and externally with a variety of collaborators.
  • Communicate and present confidently.
  • Stay up to date on market trends and competitor activity.
