We’re hiring a Digital PR Executive as part of our team in London working on a hybrid basis.
Purpose of the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and forward-thinking personality to join our Creative Services department within the digital PR team, bringing big, bold and boundary-pushing thinking to the table.
You’ll be collaborating with us in our mission to be industry trailblazers in our approach digital PR through innovation and integration with other digital marketing functions; reactive PR, content marketing, organic social, influencer marketing, UX – to name just a few.
We’re looking for fresh viewpoints and welcome those with informed opinions who are ready to challenge ours and our client’s thinking to help propel our PR product forward and grow our 20-strong department, whilst delivering consistently for our clients, the PR team, and wider members of the Creative Services team.
After all, if we do what we’ve always done in digital PR, we’ll shrivel up and stagnate in a hole devoid of creativity and vision… to paraphrase Henry Ford.
Key Responsibilities
Our client base spans a large pool of industries meaning no two days will look the same for you.
We work with clients of all sizes across home and interior, property, fashion and beauty, finance and legal, travel, leisure and tourism, healthcare, consumer electronics and jewellery – to name a few.
The core responsibilities for this role are:
  • You will have a strong desire for learning and gaining knowledge in all things Digital PR, spanning all formats; onsite campaigns, influencer content campaigns, reactive/newsjacking campaigns etc.
  • You will be required to develop basic understanding of complimentary functions in the context of Digital PR – research, design, content, organic social, influencer marketing, SEO, UX etc.
  • Be aware of current affairs and the impacts on our clients and their respective industries and use this knowledge to inform creative ideation.
  • Actively become familiar with the day-to-day news agenda across news and social platforms and familiarise yourself with trending industry topics that can be leveraged for reactive PR purposes across relevant clients.
  • Be an active participant in creative ideations, for both your own clients and others and linking all ideas to relevant briefing/strategy and insight documents – backlink audits, comms strategies, SEO briefs.
  • Develop campaign/project management skills and taking ownership and accountability for the outputs on your mapped accounts – with senior support where required.
  • Ensure all PR outputs are linking back the overall SEO strategy and are being measured and evaluated with this at front of mind.
  • Creating custom, targeted media lists and outreach strategies for PR campaigns that plug in news agenda and sector knowledge.
  • Secure high-quality links from top media / content publishers and websites and taking the initiative in changing tactics and angles until we hit desired KPI’s.
  • Exhibiting strong communication skills and being confident in building a rapport – often virtually - with both colleagues and clients.
  • Writing for purpose and to a good standard when it comes to spelling and punctuation: press releases, onsite editorial copy, media pitches, client emails etc.

  • You’ll be curious. About everything. Inspiration can come from anywhere and the more news, social content, and current affairs you take an interest in, the better.
  • You’ll be results driven, eager to achieve target KPIs for your clients, driving high-performing links and ultimately improving SEO rankings.
  • Critical thinking is integral to the role. Whether putting your PR ideas through their paces in quality control or being able to identify what hasn’t worked so well, and apply these learnings to future campaigns, you should always be putting your best foot forward with your PR outputs.
  • An analytical brain and an eye for detail will serve you well when reviewing large campaign datasets to get to the most interesting heart of any story, presenting something new, interesting, and unexpected to media.
  • Whilst a previous degree or junior role/internship in media, content, PR, or marketing would be desirable, we’re looking for people with passion over anything.
