The Head of PR & Communications at dentsu UKI will be a visionary leader with robust industry connections, capable of proactively pursuing stories and responding to inbound interest. This role requires an individual who can craft and execute an external PR strategy that enhances the company's reputation, supports business prospecting, and solidifies dentsu's position as a thought leader across key expertise and topics.
The successful candidate will identify and leverage key industry events, panels, and publications that align with dentsu's objectives, ensuring C-Suite and Board level engagement. Success will be measured through an uplift in brand sentiment, increasing inbound requests for speaking engagements, growth in inbound lead generation and new business opportunities and enhanced executive leadership profiles.
Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy that aligns with dentsu's growth objectives, including Labs, BX, AI, Sustainability, and Talent Development.
Monitor industry sentiment and competitive landscape to inform strategic positioning and investor relations.
Directly support the brand, voice and reputation of the UKI CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) through strategic storytelling and messaging.
Develop and deliver a Corporate Affairs strategy with a clear plan for managing dentsu’s public image and building relationships with key stakeholders in the external environment
Prepare market leadership for key PR engagements, shaping the external narrative and social media presence.
Provide counsel on communication strategies, working closely with internal communications and the Director of Strategic Projects.

Key Skills and Experience
Proven experience in PR leadership with strong industry connections
A strategic, commercially minded individual that is focused on through reputation building, directly adding new business and brand growth
Highly capable in supporting and curating investor relations
Demonstrable ability to shape PR narratives and strategies
Experience in high-level event and publication positioning
Demonstrable success in growing the brand and reputation of C-Suite
Experience of leading on corporate affairs strategies, with particular focus on industry/government penetration
Keen understanding of industry trends and competitor strategies
