We have an exciting oppurtunity in the form of a Senior Conceptual / Creative Designer to join our brilliant in house creative team on a 1 year FTC. We've got some big marketing and development plans and we're looking for a senior conceptual designer brimming with ideas to help bring them to life. As well as tackling the big projects, we'd like to find someone who’s just as keen to put their heart into the little touches too.

As a Creative at Gousto, you’ll tuck into groundbreaking brand partnerships (Bluey? Jolly Hog? Yes please!), mouthwatering photoshoots (may we refer you to Battle of the Buns), and red hot new recipe ranges right from the oven. We make everything look and sound Gousto, from the billboards you see at train stations to the big red box that arrives at your doorstep.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Being creative. Consistently coming up with original, creative ideas and taking them from initial scamps, through concept development, design and art-working to final delivery
  • Developing and executing to high standards, on big and small creative briefs, for campaigns, packaging, events and all digital channels
  • Managing and developing the skills of our talented designers
  • Collaborating with your fellow creatives (copywriters, designers, photographers), brand team members (social media, PR, brand managers) and folks from all over the company
  • Developing, promoting and protecting the Gousto brand both internally and externally
  • Providing art direction to our internal designers, photographers, freelancers and external agencies
  • Pitching (creative and process improvement) ideas to key stakeholders across the business
  • Project-managing multiple briefs all the way through the creative process, whilst working closely with our Creative Production team
  • Focusing on personal development to learn new skills, using available resources such as YCN and LinkedIn Learning
  • Bringing a positive energy and a creative point of view to the brand community and Gousto as a whole

Who you are:
  • Experience interpreting a creative brief and establishing an understanding of client requirements and business challenges
  • Advance knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite & Figma
  • Strong commercial experience, working for a FMCG, D2C, Ecommerce or Retail would be hugely beneficial
  • Experience of developing, implementing and protecting brand guidelines and brand positioning
  • Considerable experience in leading and mentoring creatives to develop multi-disciplinary skills
  • A natural, confident and positive style and the ability to influence those around you
  • Exceptional organisation, communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to multitask under pressure and work quickly while maintaining absolute attention to detail
  • Awareness of and interest in the latest design, social and cultural trends
  • Expertise with After Effects or other video editing software and animation skills would be hugely beneficial although not essential
