We're looking for a Senior Editorial Analytics Manager to to set the Editorial data and analytics strategy and oversee its delivery across Editorial, Product & Engineering as well as business-wide strategic projects related to journalism.
The team's primary objective is to enable us to be audience centric, data driven, and to deliver meaningful, actionable insights in response to long term trends. • Help to ensure wider analytics projects are seen, understood, and used effectively by teams, and that there is clear two-way dialogue between analytics stakeholders and editorial related teams
About You
  • Experience and proven track record in leading a high performing analytics team.
  • Extensive knowledge in using advanced analytical methodologies for solving complex business challenges with data and explaining the outputs in a simple and easy to understand way.
  • Proven track record of producing compelling analysis outputs
  • Familiarity with editorial processes and practices and an understanding of how data and analysis can lead to concrete impact in a subjective frame
  • Familiarity with data privacy legislations and data governance processes around the use of data with different activities
  • Direct experience of managing delivery to senior and non-technical stakeholders
