Role purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for a strong candidate to join us in the role of Supply Planner. Your objective will be managing short and mid term supply to support ambitious sales targets for the EMEA region. Through excellent proactive communication and relationship building you will help us effectively collaborate, maximise our service level and optimise our stock holding. As a Supply Planner you will be at the centre of inventory and availability planning and will be instrumental in ensuring we meet our customer’s expectations. You will be working with a variety of different stakeholders including Logistics and Operations, Commercial, Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning, Regional Distribution Centres, and Global Supply Chain teams.
Role responsibilities include, but not limited to –
Main Responsibilities
  • Anticipate potential issues by comparing demand with supply in the short and medium term.
  • Provide a 12 month supply plan to global supply planning of the region’s forward requirements, whilst optimising safety stock and inventory targets.
  • Communicate actively with global supply planning team to prevent out of stock risks from occurring and to recover from supply issues as soon as possible.
  • Communicate to the business any risk of out of stock and ensure all relevant parties have timely and accurate context, availability information and action plans.
  • Work alongside wholesale teams to manage through the supply of large customer demands in the most effective way.
  • Root cause analysis of shortages with recommendation of appropriate action to ensure we learn from every issue.
  • Prepare and publish appropriate reports to monitor supply chain performance.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to our supply planning practices.
  • Project Service Level and Inventory level risks weekly to pre-empt possible issues in the short and medium term.
  • Work closely with our Logistics, Merchandise Planning and Demand Planning team to optimise slow moving and aged stock.
  • Manage kitting and VAS (value added services) with the Distribution Centre to ensure visibility of capacity and resource planning.
  • Lead Supply Review as part of the monthly S&OP cycle
Meetings
  • Facilitate monthly Aged Inventory meetings
  • Facilitate Monthly Supply S&OP meetings
  • Facilitate weekly risk review meetings
  • Facilitate supply and demand balancing
  • Attend monthly Sea Freight Review meeting and influence decision making
  • Attend sales alignment and sales sign off meetings to influence decision making on inventory and supply risks
Reporting
  • Generate and distribute the following reports on a weekly basis:
  • Service Level Reporting
  • Out of stocks / low stocks
  • Wastage report
  • Aged and excess stock
  • Review and resolve daily 3PL adjustments
  • Generate necessary monthly reports including S&OP deck
This is a full time position operating with a hybrid working pattern.
