Role Description:
The MML Systems & Reporting team sits within the International Music & Media Licensing team (‘MML’) and supports all music related systems and reporting. We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Music Systems & Reporting Analyst to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle account set-ups for the internal music cue sheet system and Paramount Music Library
  • Ensure accurate data is held across all internal systems and tracking documents, upholding data integrity throughout the reporting process.
  • Assist in the preparation of analytical reports to support CMO, label and publisher deal negotiations.
  • Assist in the delivery of music reporting to CMOs as required.
  • Ensure all training materials are kept up to date and distributed accordingly.
  • Provide support in the development and improvement of music systems and reporting tools and processes.
  • Assist in redlining reporting terms in Collecting Management Organisation (‘CMO’) deal negotiations.
Preferred Experience:
  • 2+ years’ experience in Music Royalties/Reporting, TV/Streaming Platforms, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management with experience meeting pressing deadlines.
  • Knowledge/experience of cue sheets, royalty reporting, collecting societies, record labels, music publishers, and Production Music Libraries.
  • An aptitude for logical thinking and creative problem-solving essential; curiosity about why systems and processes work the way they do with an eye to future development and increased efficiency preferred.
  • Knowledge of/experience with database management, electronic data exchange, asset management systems desirable.
