What you’ll be doing
As the Trade Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by developing and executing trading strategies that are aligned with our business goals, driving new initiatives and creating a quarterly & monthly trading plan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and consumer behaviour to identify growth opportunities and develop effective trading strategies.
  • Create detailed customer-facing trading plans, including promotional calendars that maximise revenue and profitability across all categories.
  • Work closely with the commercial and marketing teams to develop and implement integrated campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, to optimise new Moonpig initiatives for eg Moonpig Plus & Digital Gifting.
  • Create bespoke trading plans for Moonpig Plus & Digital Gifting including content & promotional strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular analysis and reporting on key metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
What does success look like in this role?
  • Creating an aligned customer plan that supports the delivery of the business goals with input from different teams.
  • Develop strong cross-team relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Support Head of eCommerce in the delivery & execution of the monthly customer plan across the business.
