A Message To You

The UK has a sharp problem. In 2019, 10-17 year olds made up roughly 20% of offences involving a knife or sharp instrument. The song “A Message You, Rudy” covered by The Specials, will form the voice of a new campaign. Within the context of knife crime, the campaign will use the songs simple but vital message, with the aim to start conversation about knives. Through a strikingly bold appearance, the campaign invites those effected by the cause to share their messages to a loved one taken by a knife. Together their message becomes the message.
