The advent of the Internet has had a strong impact on the way we communicate and interact with each other, but also on the way we perceive ourselves and the world. Changes to these aspects of everyday life will continue to happen in the future, thanks to new technologies and mobile internet access.
With A Tale of Virtual Existence, I am exploring the consequences that a life lived constantly immersed in the virtual could bring. From the point of view of a fictional character living in a not so distant future, the book presented is the diary of a life lived in a time where the distinction between reality and the virtual is subtle. It is the expression of the desire to find again a connection with the real, through the creation of a physical object.
The book was printed using risograph printing and manually bound.
