Backing up your everyday life with the Mobility Pack.

Briefing

Brisa's A-to-Be wanted to introduce the possibilities of their Mobility Pack, a new technology designed for everyday users to assist in resolving mobility issues, aiming to create smooth and seamless journeys in large cities.
To illustrate this innovative concept, the team proposed narrating a cheerful story within a VR environment for users to immerse themselves in. Given the team's proficiency in 2D illustration and animation, the project promised to offer a distinctive aesthetic for a VR video, in contrast to the more prevalent 3D or 360º videos.

Intro

The VR experience begins with a countdown. This waiting period allows first-time VR users to familiarize themselves with the environment and position themselves correctly to make the most of the experience.

The Train

The story begins on the sidewalk of a bustling street. The viewer observes a significant traffic jam with no apparent solution in sight. After the narrator concludes their dialogue, we are introduced to the voice of our story's main character.
In an instant, we are transported to the interior of a train, and it's here that we first encounter our protagonist, John. While he's on his phone using A-to-Be's app, he adds Melissa, his girlfriend, to the Mobility Pack.
As John commutes to work by train, Melissa utilizes the Mobility Pack to secure a shared bike to go by her day.

The Office

One of the carriage doors opens up, and the scene transitions to an office room. Here, we find the protagonist diligently working at a desk. Suddenly, he receives a message from Melissa containing a shared shopping list, kindly requesting that John pick up the groceries.
John uses the Mobility Pack to determine the optimal mode of transportation for his trip to the store and subsequently to return home to be with his girlfriend. After careful consideration, John decides to temporarily add a new service to his Mobility Pack: a shared car.

The Shared Car

In this segment, our protagonist is utilizing the shared car, which he had selected earlier while in the office. After retrieving the shopping list, John opts to visit a Drive-Through to grab something to eat. This part illustrates how effortless it is to locate convenient services such as restaurants, gas stations, and more in close proximity using the Mobility Pack.
The Mobility Pack also incorporates a gamification system. Users can accumulate points by utilizing the app's services, which can then be redeemed for discounts on various other services.
As John drives home, the Mobility Pack provides him with real-time updates on the traffic situation. The story culminates in a heartwarming and joyous moment: our couple, Melissa and John, get engaged.
